Now on April fool's day the people at Dr Peppers had let out a sexy cheerleader loose on the population of chatroulette.

What happened next was really hilarious as every person who was connected to the web cam showing the cheerleader started doing certain things that the sexy cheerleader asked them to do. Some of the guys were really serious while some looked really focused on the cheerleader. Look at the video posted below and find out what else had happened...Ha...Ha.

The Curious Case Of The Cosmic Rays

OUR cosmos is a huge ocean of mysteries. Every mystery solved brings us one step closer to understanding the world we live. The existence of cosmic rays has baffled scientists for almost a century. Cosmic rays are not really rays! They are, in fact, tiny, charged particles that come from outer space and continuously bombard the Earth from all sides. These particles have very high energy and they travel almost at the speed of light.

There are two types of cosmic rays — primary and secondary. Primary cosmic rays which come from outer space strike the Earth’s atmosphere and cause the atmospheric atoms and molecules to break down and descend to the ground. These particles form secondary cosmic rays.
Secondary cosmic rays collide with more air molecules, producing a cascade shower called ‘air shower’ or ‘Auger shower’ (named after the scientist Pierre Auger, who discovered these showers).

Cosmic rays were first discovered in 1912 by the Austrian-American scientist Victor Hess during a balloon- flight. He found that as he moved higher above the Earth’s surface, the amount of charged radiation detected went on increasing; causing him to conclude that the radiation was coming from space.

In fact, he also went on a similar expedition during a solar eclipse and found that the amount of radiation recorded did not decrease, thereby confirming that the sun was not the source for this radiation.

The term ‘Cosmic Rays’ was coined by Robert Millikan in1925, although, at the time, it was not known what kind of matter was present in the rays.

A Personal Incident

One day, as I was watching TV, my mother told me to go check on my little brother and sister. I went and found them missing. I heard them crying from our bedroom. I went towards the bedroom door and tried to open it. But it refused to open because they had locked the door from the inside! They said that they were playing and had locked the door, thinking that they could open it. I was afraid and went to my mother and told her what had happened. After we have broke open the door, my mother went inside and hugged both of them. After that incident, nobody had locked any door unnecessarily.

The Moon's Weird Movement

The moon doesn’t look as if it’s very far away, but its distance from the earth averages 239,000 miles. we sometimes forget that 239,000 miles is quite a distance away. It is this great distance that explains why the moon seems to follow us when we drive in a vehicle and look up at it.

When we speed along a road, we notice that everything moves past us. Trees, houses, fences, the road— all fly past us in the opposite direction. Now there’s the moon, part of what we see as we look out, and we naturally expect it also to be flying past us, or at least to he moving backward as we speed ahead. When this doesn’t happen, we have the sensation that it is “following” us.

But why doesn’t it happen? Because the distance of the moon from the earth is quite great. Compared to the distance our vehicle travels in a few minutes, that distance is enormous. So as we move along, the angle at which we see the moon hardly changes

In fact, we could go along a straight path for miles and the angle at which we would see the moon would still be basically the same. And as we notice everything else flying past, we get that feeling of the moon “following” us.
