Whenever a policeman encounters a suspicious-looking character that refuses to disclose his true identity, the policeman is left with no choice but to drag him to the police station for a fingerprint check.
However, a new device named ‘Blue Check’ has provided a way out. It is a tiny hand-held biometric scanner which provides an instant fingerprint verification thereby preventing wrong arrests. The suspect’s fingerprints are scanned on the spot and sent to a host device like the cop’s Smartphone or built-in car computer via Bluetooth.
The computer then searches the database and comes up with the personal details and previous records of the suspect. This data is transmitted hack to the scanner which displays it on a built-in LCD screen.
